Colorful Lanterns

Build, color, and glow! Kids will construct charming lanterns using popsicle sticks and translucent paper panels that they decorate with bold, colorful designs. When lit from within, their artwork transforms into a glowing stained-glass-like display that's nothing short of magical. In this hands-on class, kids will:

• Assemble a sturdy lantern frame using popsicle sticks

• Collage vibrant designs, patterns, and scenes onto translucent paper panels

• Attach their artwork onto the frame to create a glowing, illuminated display

• Watch their lantern come to life with an LED light tucked inside

From abstract collage paintings to intricate floral designs, every lantern is a one-of-a-kind creation that doubles as functional home décor. A perfect project for young builders and artists alike.

The class is 90 minutes long and kids in grades 1-5 are welcome to sign up for this class. All required materials are included and it is a per person cost.
