Teachers Needed

Kids After School/Enrichment Classes

Teachers needed! We will be working with kids in local Seattle area public schools, grades 1-5, in the after school or enrichment programs throughout the city. Times will be roughly 2:25-4pm, Monday though Friday, depending on the day and the location (most Wednesday classes start at 1:10pm). There will be a minimum of 8 kids per class with a maximum of 12 kids.

We will offer the following:

• $80 per class, per week for about 8-10 weeks of instruction (there are 3 sessions total from late Sept through June)

• CraftLab Seattle teachers receive training and ongoing support, full curriculum and all materials are provided

Qualifications:

• Must be able to pass all required school background checks and school requirements

• Must be able to lead a balanced class for kids grades 1-5, including class setup and cleanup.

• Experience working with children in a fast-paced environment (school classroom experience is a plus)

• A fun and exuberant attitude towards art and crafts and teaching kids

• A punctual and professional attitude

• Ability to lift/load art supplies in and out of cars/classrooms

• Reliable Transportation to and from schools - a car is required

• Excellent organization and communication skills

• Conduct interactive, friendly, and fun classes with 8-12 kids
