Macrame Coasters

Dive into the satisfying and meditative art of macramé by crafting a set of beautiful, functional coasters using natural cotton rope and classic knotting techniques. This beginner-friendly class for ages 16 and up is the perfect introduction to macramé—no experience required, just a love of texture, pattern, and handmade home décor. In this hands-on class, participants will:

  • Learn foundational macramé knots including the square knot, half hitch, and spiral knot

  • Work with natural cotton rope to build confidence and rhythm with each knot

  • Design and complete a set of stylish, durable coasters in a pattern of their choosing

  • Explore how color and texture choices transform the look and feel of the finished piece

  • Leave with a set of 2 handcrafted coasters and the skills to tackle larger macramé projects at home

Whether you're brand new to macramé or looking to build on basic knotting skills, this class offers a relaxed and welcoming environment to learn a timeless fiber art with a modern, functional twist.

This is a 2 hour class. All people ages 16 and up are encouraged to attend. All materials provided and the cost is per person.
