Step outside the ordinary and into the natural world! In this hands-on after-school art class, young creators will explore the beauty of the outdoors through a variety of nature-inspired projects using a variety of materials. Along the way, budding artists will draw inspiration from the fascinating creatures that share our natural world—sketching the intricate wings of butterflies, sculpting their favorite woodland animals, and bringing colorful bugs and critters to life through painting, collage, and mixed media. Whether they're obsessed with ladybugs, owls, or anything in between, there's something in every class to fuel their curiosity and imagination. A perfect blend of art, science, and outdoor wonder designed for our explorers in elementary school!
This session is $325 per student for a 10 week, Fall session. We will be running two sessions, one on Mondays and one on Tuesdays for 70 minutes in the CraftLab Seattle Studio located in the West Seattle Junction. Classes start the week of September 28th and run through the week of December 7th, with no class on the week of Nov 23rd. Students in grades 1st through 5th are welcome. We need a minimum of 8 students and a max of 12 spots are available for this session.
