Pack your imagination and get ready for a creative journey around the world. Art Explorers takes our artists on a global adventure, discovering how cultures in different countries create, play, and express themselves through art. Each day, campers will travel to a new destination, exploring the colors, patterns, and traditions of cultures from every continent. Kids will create Mexican papel picado banners, design African-inspired masks, paint like Aboriginal artists from Australia, fold Japanese origami, and so much more. Through hands-on projects, stories, and creative play, our explorers will discover that art is a language everyone speaks. Our camp celebrates diversity and creativity while helping children see the beautiful connections between cultures. Every camper will create their own collection of global artwork and develop an appreciation for the wonderful ways people around the world express themselves.
The field trip for this week will take us to a local destination via public transport.
All materials provided. Bring a lunch and a snack. Care available until 5pm onsite for $25/hr.
