August 24th to August 28th - Daily from 9am to 3pm - Open to kids in rising Grades 5-8
Design, craft, and wear your own creations! The Artisan Studio is where aspiring designers and makers learn to create unique wearable art, from custom jewelry to personalized accessories that showcase their individual style. Campers will master a variety of artisan techniques as they design and craft wearable pieces. Learn to create beaded bracelets and necklaces, wire-wrapped jewelry, painted tote bags, tie-dyed apparel, hand-stitched patches, friendship bracelets with intricate patterns, and embellished accessories. Each project builds technical skills while encouraging personal design choices, color coordination, and trend awareness. This camp is perfect for tweens and teens who love fashion, accessories, and expressing themselves through what they wear. Campers will leave with a curated collection of handmade pieces they'll actually want to wear and share with friends, plus the skills to continue creating on their own.
The field trip for this week will take us to a local destination via public transport.
All materials provided. Bring a lunch and a snack. Care available until 5pm onsite for $25/hr.
