August 17th to August 21st - Daily from 9am to 3pm - Open to kids in rising Grades 3-6
Discover your unique artistic voice! Artistic Expressions is where young artists explore multiple art forms and techniques while developing their personal creative style. Campers will dive into a variety of artistic mediums and methods, experimenting with everything from painting and drawing to printmaking, mixed media, and beyond. Each day brings new opportunities to try different materials, learn professional art techniques, and create work that reflects their own ideas and emotions. Kids will explore color theory, composition, and various artistic styles while gaining confidence in their ability to express themselves visually. Whether painting bold abstract canvases, sketching detailed illustrations, creating textured mixed-media pieces, or experimenting with printmaking techniques, campers will build a strong artistic foundation. This camp encourages creative risk-taking, self-expression, and the discovery that there are countless ways to share your perspective through art.
The field trip for this week will take us to a local destination via public transport.
All materials provided. Bring a lunch and a snack. Care available until 5pm onsite for $25/hr.
