August 10th to August 14th - Daily from 9am to 3pm - Open to kids in rising Grades 1-6
Transform simple paper into extraordinary art! Paper and Pages celebrates the endless creative possibilities of working with paper, from delicate origami to bold mixed-media collages. Campers will explore the versatility of paper through exciting hands-on projects that fold, cut, tear, layer, and paste. Kids will learn origami techniques to create animals and shapes, design pop-up cards with hidden surprises, craft intricate paper mosaics, make handmade books and journals, create colorful collages, and build three-dimensional sculptures. Each project introduces new skills while encouraging personal expression and creativity. From beginners just learning to fold their first crane to experienced paper artists ready for complex designs, this camp offers something for everyone. Campers will discover that paper isn't just for drawing—it's a magical medium that can be transformed into almost anything they imagine.
The field trip for this week will take us to a local destination via public transport.
All materials provided. Bring a lunch and a snack. Care available until 5pm onsite for $25/hr.
